Yikes...

I have strep throat AGAIN! :( This is the 3rd time in 4 months!!! I am sick and tired of being sick and tired (more on this in a bit). I got TWO... count em TWO shots today... what adult should have to get TWO shots in ONE day?! I got the SEASONAL and H1N1 FLU shots. YIPPEE at least I will not get those this season!!! My arms hurt though... WHINE WHINE WHINE... yes I know!

I start work tomorrow. Not a glamorous type of work... just plain ol' work... BUT it is a job and in our situation it will help!!!

Last, but not least... back to the -sick and tired of being sick and tired- HONESTLY if I were not carrying around this extra 100+ pounds I would not feel quite as sick and tired... AND I would probably be off of almost all of the 10 pills I take a day!!! I am UNHEALTHY. I have tried and tried a million methods (okay not a million, but you know what I mean). Eating right and exercise do the trick... this I know... but for me... I think I might need a little help. Okay... here it is... I am considering Lap Band®.

Yuck on the outside...

It is rainy and cold and all around miserable outside! However... inside the kids are kindly watching a television show... jerm is reading a chapter for his class... and I am preparing a shower gift for a friend. The girls are in a Christmas Production tomorrow. I am excited to watch them both. If I get the chance maybe I will post a snippet here on the blog. Anyway... off the blog for now. HUGS everyone!

Omaha is a NO! Just like Longview and Bartlesville... they have decided not to fill the position at this time. I am continuing to trust and hope in the Lord!

On the road again...

Just crossed the Oklahoma/Texas border. Another fine trip to Tulsa to see family. Larkin was again the star of the show!!! I have new pictures :). I will post em soon! I promise!

I am in Tulsa again. Enjoying this holiday weekend with family! No shopping for us! There seems to be some great deals out there, but no $ is no $ no matter how big the bargain is!!!

Tulsa...

I am in Tulsa. My sis-in-law is due with her first baby any day now. They are inducing on Friday at the latest!!! I am excited about being able to capture this moment. I will be photographing the labor and delivery! YIPPEE!!! I will be here for the week. I am excited to spend time with friends and family.

Also... today we were buying the girls two of their gifts for Christmas... SNUGGIES (they each want one BAD... YACK!) BUT before we purchased them I scanned my CVS Extra Care card and got a 3 DAY ONLY... $10 off $30 coupon... WELL :) the SNUGGIES were $14.99... WHAT A DEAL!!! $11 SNUGGIES!!!

As many of you know... we are WAITING. Waiting on an official offer from a company in Longview, TX. The LORD is awesome and knows the perfect timing of all of this craziness! We are trusting in Him to provide exactly what we need - exactly when we need it!!!

As many of you know... we have been waiting to hear from a job prospect for Jerm. We could hear as early as tomorrow and as late as Monday. It is getting really tough! I have been keeping myself entertained, BUT I am running out of entertainment. :( Keep us in your prayers. THX!!!

A few days away is all I needed to totally fall in love with my dog! Penelope is just a gorgeous pupster. I look forward to years ahead with her. For those of you who do not know... we got an Airedale Terrier in December.

August... REALLY?! AUGUST?!

I cannot believe my last post was in August of 2008. I have no idea where the time has gone!

Hum... since August -

Abigail is now attending public elementary school... she is really enjoying it... they have a large library and she is a reading fool :) she reads TWO chapter books a night and tests on them both the following day! I hope she retains this love of reading her entire life!

Isabelle just turned SIX a couple of weeks ago :) O MY how my little baby is growing... makes me ecstatic and sad at the same time! She is still in total love with The Littlest Pet Shop :) She is totally learning to read too... I hope she continues to get a good grasp on reading and establishes a love for reading as well!

I am traveling home to Texas from Tulsa... we had a great time visiting with family. :) There is exciting news in our family, but for now just pray and I will reveal it as soon as I am allowed!

Today is better. My body is BLAH, but... my mind is in a better place. :) Thank you Lord for being my STRENGTH.

Today would be a good example of just how low it can get. I am lower than low today!
I think it would be nice to not exist at this point. I am not being a good wife or mother. I am actually pretty useless. I feel physically miserable and mentally incompetent. I have no one to talk to and no one to spend any time with and nothing worth doing.

THROWING... as in pottery... :) I do not THROW things at people or anything of the sort... :) I totally mean 'throwing' on a wheel :)

humph... I am BORED and I am TIRED and I am DEPRESSED. ODD... I know!
I want to be at class throwing... but instead I am home with a sick child - waiting on Jeremy to return home from work. I need to throw at least 8 things this evening!

My daughter is dancing to worship music... how can it get any better?! :) I love YOU LORD... and I love you Isabelle!

God is calling me... very loud and clear He is calling me. A few years ago I was told I would be ministering to women. Okay... I could NEVER imagine it... I had put it on the back burner of my mind. HOWEVER... now I know it is supposed to be the women of MEXICO. HOW... I live in Texas... my husband would like to continue to live in Texas...
I have two children... how is a mother of two children supposed to go to Mexico on any regular basis?! Does God call a mother of two children to leave her children on a regular basis to minister to women in another country?! Does God call a woman and not call her husband?!
O WAIT... 9 years ago Jeremy was the one being called... but not to missions... and I did not feel called at ALL!
Why would God call one of us at one point... and another one of us at another point... why is this all super confusing?!
I am sad. I am confused. I want to do what God wants me to do. BUT HOW?!

Does he not know a gal like me has too many obligations ALREADY?! I mean... how do I tell a new employer I cannot work Monday nights because I coach basketball for 3 basketball teams? cannot work Wednesday night because I am taking a ceramics class? cannot work Friday mornings because I have MOPS? AND I cannot work Saturday because I have games for the 3 basketball teams?

They have one simple response... YOU'RE FIRED.

Now... before everyone panics... I have decided to NOT tell anyone I have all these commitments :) I am thinking I will just fly by the seat of my pants... BECAUSE I LOVE to send my self tail spinning into a mental breakdown! YIPPEE! Mental breakdowns are super fun!

OH... and did I mention I need off by 3pm because my children get out of school... BUT I can certainly return after 4:30 when my husband returns home from work *wink*

How about a blog from a STRUGGLING wife and mother?! I have searched and searched for a blog where the author was struggling with similar things as myself. I came up empty!
I am currently clinically depressed with anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. OH AND... I have Attention Deficit Disorder.
NOW... let me please let you all know HARDLY ANYONE knows... as far as anyone knows I am this normal wife and mother - possibly with a bit of an eccentric kick :). I am not this sick individual - walking around with my illness exposed like a freshman pimple on the end of my nose the night of my first school dance.

OKay... what does this mean?! If you are struggling with some or all of the same things it may be something DIFFERENT for YOU! However... this is what it looks like for me...



HA! well... if I spilled it all right now, what would the purpose of this blog be?!
I suppose I will just blog about my days as I go along... hope you enjoy the ride.
